This is a very charming sterling silver Georg Jensen bowl. Georg Jensen was a world famous silversmith. He was Danish and lived between 1866 - 1935. The hallmark on this bowl shows that it was made in Denmark between 1915-1927. It is very finely hand-wrought. It is signed GP this was the signature of the designer Gundlach Pedersen who worked under Georg Jensen in his workshop. The quality and condition are excellant. It is a good size and is suitable for fruit, however it is really an object of art to be admired and appreciated by the collectors eye.
