This is a delightful carafe with a Silver top. It is German and dates about 1900. This was the Art Nouveau period (1890-1910). It certainly has a "Loetz glass look"  but I cannot be sure as I am not a glass specialist. The quality and condition are good. It is a romantic little carafe that would be ideal to serve liqueurs with  afternoon coffee or tea. Equally  suitable for wine for two over dinner.

The carafe measures the following:

Height: 20 cm. ~ 8 ins. (to the top of the lid, not including the ascending knob).

Width: 12 cm. ~ 4.75 ins. (including the spout and the handle).

Width: 12 cm. ~ 4.75 ins. (widest glass point).
