This is a  super American sterling silver tea set. It was made by the famous silvermsiths Towle between 1945-53. Towle silver signed their silver with the initials of the American president  at the time. This set has the initials of H.T. that is Harry Truman who was president of the United States between 1945-53. It has ivory handles and finials. It has been made in the style of Georg Jensen! It is however not hand wrought. The tea pot holds 2 pints ~ 1 liter. The quality and condition are excellant.

The 3 x piece tea set weighs a total  820 gramms.

The tea pot:

Height:6.25 ins.~16 cm. Width: 9 ins.~23 cm. Base diameter: 4.25 ins.~11 cm.

The milk jug:

Height:2.75 ins.~7 cm. Width: 5.5 ins.~ 14 cm. Base diameter: 2.25 ins.~6 cm.

The sugar basin:

Height:3.75 ins.~9.5 cm.Width: 4 ins.~ 10 cm. Base diameter: 3.25 ins.~ 8 cm.
