Reed & Barton was founded in Taunten, Massachusetts in
1840, by Henry Reed and Charles Barton.From 1928 to 1957
Reed & Barton year marked all its silver with symbols.It is
the oldest independant silver company in America, and
continues to be one of the most distinguished names in fine
silverware. Reed & Barton continues to be managed by the
family members of Henry Reed.
